Chief Operations Officer
Jana has been the ČEA’s chief operations officer since 2019. Her personal relationship with Christ was influenced by the division of her family. Part of her life was the congregational environment of the Církev Bratrská congregation in Náchod, then later in Litomyšl. Another part of her life was growing up in an unbelieving home. Still, she was always accompanied by the prayers of the believing members of her extended family, both her own and the church. Jana has a degree in civil engineering, and later added practical theology at TCMi. She worked with youth in various mission organizations and in the church for many years. She spent a significant part of her professional career as the Director of the European Training Center of the YMCA in Litomyšl. While single, she is surrounded by a large family: four siblings and ten nephews and nieces. She enjoys travelling and spending time with friends, and in winter she swaps her bike for the ski slopes. Her hobbies include photography and good books. She is interested in architectural design and history. She is also deeply passionate about serving the School in India mission project.
